An image of Volkswagen’s refreshed Tiguan compact crossover has leaked in advance of the car’s planned Geneva show debut. What we see is a new Volkswagen that resembles…every other new Volkswagen that has recently hit the market from the Jetta to the Touareg. New headlights with LED daytime running lights lend the crossover a more upscale appeal. The bigger grille and revised front fascia are now a better match for the Touareg. It’s not clear if there are any engine tweaks headed for the 2012…

It didn’t show up in Detroit as some had predicted, but the new Chrysler 200 Convertible has made its debut this week anyway thanks to leaked photos on an Italian car blog. A 200 Convertible was pretty much always a foregone conclusion, since the 200 is really an updated Sebring. And if Chrysler can update the fixed-roof Sebring, why not apply the same polish to the convertible? And so they have. We don’t know when the new 200 Convertible you see here will go on-sale, but with the first 200s roll…

The Honda Fit is roomier inside than you might imagine, but some people still need more interior space. To fill that need, Honda will soon have the Fit Shuttle. Not likely heading to the U.S., the Fit Shuttle was featured in a leaked brochure today. The most notable styling feature is the hard-to-miss C-pillar spear that reminds us of Citroën DS3 pictured here. Based on the Honda Fit, of course, the Fit Shuttle is reported to use two powertrains, a hybrid using a 1.3-liter engine and a 1.5-liter fo…

It is not uncommon to see photos of a car a few days before their official unveiling, but official shots of the Mercedes C-Class sedan leaked on the web a couple weeks before its official unveiling at the Detroit Auto Show. Now, photos have just popped up from the brochure for the C-Class Coupe, set to be unveiled at the Geneva Auto Show in March. If this trend continues, by the end of the year we can expect to see leaked photos of cars before Mercedes even designs them. The C-Class Coupe uses the …

We won’t see it in Australia anytime soon (in fact, probably never) but this is Kia’s facelifted Pro Ceed, of which these images have been leaked (deliberately?) onto the internet ahead of the car’s public unveiling at March’s Geneva motor show. As evident from these pics, the updated three-door hatch is fronted by the now-trademark H-pattern grille already seen on the likes of the new Sportage and Optima. The Pro Cee’d also scores new headlights and a revised bumper/spoiler assembly with foglights…

The Crossblade is back! Meet the new SLK! Thanks to a leak from a French site, the newcomer has been revealed, along with many of the car’s new features, ahead of the launch at the Detroit Motor Show in January. The newcomer is clearly inspired by the SLS AMG supercar, and features a prominent grille, swept back headlights and angular exhausts. The new headlights feature Mercedes’ intelligent light system, which uses a number of LEDs which illuminate depending on ambient light and whether the car is turning a corner. The ca…

Nissan’s all-new Micra-based ‘New Global Sedan’ (codenamed L02B) has been revealed. Nissan will officially unveil the saloon at the Guangzhou Show this month, but we already have some accurate illustrations and information to give you a heads up. Known as the Sunny internationally, but probably not in India, you can see no trace of the Micra in the design of this car. The sedan gets a new nose, a new rear and even the roof looks totally different. The lines are long and flowing and there is plenty …

These are some recent pictures of the face-lifted Suzuki SX4, recently surfaced on a Chinese website. The images show an overall refresh to the current SX4 styling; there is a new chromed-lined grill on the front. The headlamps are slightly re-styled which makes the front gives a little more shaper stance. The front bumper is also all new. On the rear, there are extensive changes to the boot lid, restyled tail-lamps which now look similar to the newly-launched Kizashi saloon. There is not much informatio…
