Edwards moves to backup after Daytona Unlimited practice crash

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The season’s first practice session saw the season’s first
multicar accident, with five cars involved in an accident that took place only nine minutes into
the season’s first practice. The result sends Roush Fenway’s Carl Edwards and the No. 99 Fastenal

INDYCAR: Andretti leads the way on cold wet day of practice in Long Beach

Even though wet and cold conditions prevailed throughout much of the day at Long Beach, 20 of the 26 IZOD IndyCar Series entrants did get to make laps during the first day of practice for Sunday’s Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, the 38th edition of the famed street race.
