Ford Says It Isn’t Planning an Explorer SHO, Quashing Rumors

Despite a typist’s trip-up on Ford’s consumer site earlier today, whereby an Explorer SHO was listed among other EcoBoosted models, the company confirms that it is not working on a high-performance variant of its latest crossover.
The Explorer is currently sold with a 3.5-liter V-6 making 290 hp and 255 lb-ft, and the company is preparing to launch a version with an EcoBoost-branded 2.0-liter turbo four, which will stump up 237 hp and 250 lb-ft. It’s the latter that led to the Explorer…

Report: Jaguar planning XJ coupe, version of Evoque crossover

Jaguar C-X75 Concept
Jaguar has been on a continuously upward trend after examples such as the new Jaguar XF and the astonishing Jaguar XJ proved that long gone is the idea that Jaguar drivers are retired dentists and doctors…anyone who’s owned an old S-Type would know what I’m on about.
But now they have some great cars that will hopefully attract buyers from the stoic Germans and humdrum Japanese benchmarks. That said, there are many plans for expansion, thanks to the deep pockets of Carl-Peter …
