The upcoming BMW M5 was seen lapping the Nürburgring…on a trailer. It’s not clear what happened to the prototype, but this is exactly why automakers do extensive testing before any car reaches a showroom. 2011 BMW M3 GTS
The BMW M3 GTS has been making rounds at the famous Nurburgring track for some time now. According to German publication Sport Auto, the best lap time the M3 GTS returned came in at 7:48. While that’s pretty impressive, many were expecting something better. The lap time is only 2 seconds faster than the E46 M3 CSL.

Range Rover Evoque
A five-door version of the Range Rover Evoque has been caught testing on the Nurburgring and has started rumors that a larger version of the Evoque will be offered sometime in 2012. Sources say that the model will be based on the same platform as the Evoque but will have two extra doors.
