Lincoln has joined the hybrid race. Ford Motor Co. executives took the wraps off the 2011 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid this morning at the New York auto show.

Ford to unveil Lincoln MKZ Hybrid at the 2010 New York Auto Show
Sources familiar with FoMoCo’s plans say that the Dearborn automaker will unveil a hybrid version of the Lincoln MKZ at the 2010 New York Auto Show next week. The Lincoln MKZ Hybrid will be the first luxury hybrid offered by Ford.
The model will be based on the Ford Fusion Hybrid and Mercury Milan Hybrid and will be built of the same platform.
