The Detroit three automakers reported June sales gains that were in line with expectations, as demand for fuel efficient cars remains strong. However, the two largest Japanese automakers, Toyota and Honda, continue to struggle.
General Motors dealers in the United States reported 215,358 total sales in June, an 11-percent gain compared to June 2010.
