What a difference a year has made at the Gilmore Car Museum. We have not been there since the new Genevieve and Donald S. Gilmore Automotive Heritage Center was completed last winter.

* One of the news items we didn’t have room for this week was this life-size tree full of parts for a “kit” of a replica of the 1959 Aston Martin DBR1 that won that year’s Le Mans with Carroll Shelby and Roy Salvadori at the wheel.
