When BMW released the images of its upcoming M6 model it was unclear weather or not we would see it at the then upcoming Detroit Auto Show. Today, we found out the German automaker opted in, as the model ended up making its public debut.
The 2014 M6 Gran Coupe is powered by the same 4.4-liter TwinPower Turbo V8 engine as the M5 and M6, which pumps out 560hp and 500 lb-ft or torque. This allows for a 0-60 mph time of just 4.1 seconds with a 155mph top speed.

The rear-drive sDrive28i is rated for 24 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway, which is 1 mpg more on the highway than BMW claimed.
