In review: 2013 Chrysler 200S

Chrysler hasn't historically been a major player in the midsize market, but the 200 – the replacement for the Sebring – was quite a step in the right direction.

Test Drive–2013 Chrysler 300

Can a handsome young man with a fondness for light, agile cars and manual transmissions find happiness, or at least contentment, behind the wheel of a luxury battlecruiser with a slushbox? Or is the very proposition madness?

The GTI needed to go into the shop for some brake work the week after Thanksgiving, and due to a surge of business combined with a shortage of service techs, the shop couldn't get to it before the end of the day. The manager arranged for a loaner through one of the rental com…

This fact has not escaped car manufacturers.  All the companies that sell cars in the United States are obliged by the U.S. Government to meet certain fuel usage requirements an…

Bagged and tagged: Graham’s Chrysler Imperial

In the comments to yesterday’s Hemmings Find of the Day 1972 Chrysler Imperial, commenter Graham Lloyd made mention of the 1954 Chrysler Custom Imperial that he recently bagged. “Nice original, well kept car with 46,000 on it,” Graham wrote. “Every bit as nice as any other luxury car from the era, but a third the price of anything else.”
That alone is enough to grab our attention. Chrysler built just 5,659 Custom Imperials that year (and another 100 Crown Imperials), of whi…
