Carlo Van DamPhoto by: Eric Gilbert
Suzuka – Dutchman Carlo van Dam and his Japanese team mate Takashi Koguree today
finished in eighth place in the Suzuka 1000 KM. The duo looked set to take their Weider
Honda HSV-010 to a top three finish in what was the fifth round of Japan’s Super GT
series, but a tyre blow-out and its consequences demoted the car to eighth place.

The 2012 Monte Carlo rally started on January 17 with a ceremony north of Monaco, in the city of Valence. The real action, which consisted of 430 kilometers (267 miles) spread over 18 special stages, begun three days la…

Sebastien Loeb and his co-driver Daniel Elena are on their way to nail down the World Rally Championship opening event in the Principality of Monaco. Kosciuszko and Andersson march on
…in my situation with such a good lead in the PWRC it would be crazy to take any risks.Michal Kosciuszko
PG Andersson and Michal Kosciuszko are continuing to adopt low-risk strategies on Rallye Monte-Carlo as they bid to secure victory in the Super 2000 and Production Car world championship categories respectively.

Eight time champion Sebastien Loeb will lead the way on opening stage
It has been three years since the FIA World Rally Championship competed in Monte Carlo and the event has been missed by not only the Citroen ace, Sebastien Loeb, but by the other drivers who have taken on the challenge of the possible snow and ice rally event. The Frenchman and his co-driver Daniel Elena are very happy to have the historic event back on the calendar; especially since they have taken the victory five times in Monaco.

After a long, occasionally rain-soaked race session, it was no surprise to find that Hong Norrth, winner of the Cain’t Git Bayou race (and two others in ’11) held the lead at the end of the day. The Hong Norrth MX-3 is quick and the team doesn’t spin out or commit cone-icide (though they did [...]
