As predicted the racing was close and physical at the tight and twisty
Knockhill circuit for rounds 22, 23 and 24 of the Dunlop MSA British Touring
Cars, which saw three different drivers take the top step of the podium.
Ultimately though Jason Plato would have to be the happiest driver from the
weekend after extending his lead to 20 points in the championship.
Plato earned victory in the third race of the day; his 58th career victory to
take him two race wins away from equalling the all time record held…

BTCC Heads To Scotland as the Championship Battle Heats Up
This weekend sees the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship cross the
border for the only time this season to reach Knockhill in Scotland.
Following Silverstone Silverline Chevrolet driver Jason Plato now has a
14-point advantage but it is now Tom Onslow-Cole for Team Aon who is leading

Team Aon totally dominated rounds 19, 20 and 21 of the Dunlop MSA British
Touring Car Championship at Silverstone taking victories in all 3, with Tom
Chilton picking up a double whilst his teammate Tom Onslow-Cole took

The pair of Team Aon Ford Focus drivers dominated qualifying and will start 1st
and 2nd for round 18 of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship
at Silverstone. Tom Onslow-Cole finished ahead of Tom Chilton with both
finishing well under the 1-minute barrier and a whole half a second
ahead of anyone else.

A double victory for Jason Plato at Snetterton has propelled him to a
20-point lead in the 2010 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship. Plato
went into the event trailing Honda Racing’s Matt Neal by 8-points but after
the former double champion suffered a puncture in race 1, it continued to be
a tough day for the Honda man.
Neal did manage to salvage something from the day with a podium in race 3,
which his Honda Racing team mate Gordon Shedden won.

weekend at Snetterton in Norfolk as the second half of the season is about

Chilton Man To Catch Again
Today’s official British Touring Car Championship test produced a similar
story this year with Team Aon’s Tom Chilton topping the time sheets, just
like he has done on three occasions already during this season’s qualifying.
With the Championship currently in its summer break many of the teams
