Newly Styled Nismo 370Z – Still King of the Underground

Dark city streets reflecting the bright colors of traffic lights and glowing skyscrapers off of the blacktop, driving through downtown towards some of the urban back roads.  Under the overpasses onto the outskirts of the skyline.  When I think of the modern Nissan Z, this is its territory… a proper backdrop to scare off some midnight 4 banger drivers.  It was, and still is, one of the most popular imports for modifying.  Since 2003 when the 350Z came out, it was a new animal.  Modern, and s…

Slimming Down: Nissan’s Future Includes Leaner 370Z, Mini Z, Titan Variations

Improved fuel economy seems to be on every automaker’s to-do list for the future, and Nissan is no exception. Like it did with the 2013 Altima, the Japanese automaker will continue to focus on three specific areas (low vehicle weight, aerodynamics, and reduced engine and transmission friction) to heavily influence the design of Nissans to [...]

How Does The Scion FR-S Compare To The Nissan 370Z? Video

Now matter how hard you search the web, we’ll bet that can’t find a bad review on the Scion FR-S. The truth is this: no other car on the market today, except perhaps for the Mazda MX-5, delivers as much performance and fun for the dollar. Let’s be clear about one thing, though: performance doesn’t always mean straight line speed, and if the FR-S is lacking anywhere, it’s in the horsepower department.
Sure, there’s enough horsepower to provide reasonable entertainment (especially if you lik…

Chasing Rabbits And Ilanaaq In The Nissan 370Z

by Peter Dushenski @carenvy

August Long Weekend was coming up and I didn’t have plans. The firstest of first world problems, this was.
Spontaneous if nothing else, I booked flights to Vancouver, about 75 minutes west of my home base by air. Such impromptu weekend excursions benefit naturally from road trips, so I called the nice people at Nissan and they offered me a 2013 370Z with spangly LEDs. I took it.
From Vancouver’s English Bay, it would be about an hour of walking and Skytraining ju…

Project 370Z: A Real Car From a Virtual World

In February, Nissan created Project 370Z. The idea was that Nissan would ask its fans on its Facebook page how they’d want their hypothetical new 370Z tuned, open it up to a vote, and bolt on the most-demanded mods. The final product debuted last week at ZDayZ in North Carolina
To boost power, fans voted for a Greddy Twin Turbo kit, which claims to increase engine output to more than 500 hp from the standard 332. A Greddy Ti-C catback exhaust was chosen to help the engine breathe with the added horsep…

Video: Matt Farah Gets His Hands on STILLEN 500HP Supercharged Nissan 370Z

To be honest, I have become a bit jealous of Matt Farah lately due to some of the vehicles he has got his hands on in the past couple months. One of the latest cars Matt gets some seat-time in is a STILLEN 370Z with 500 horsepower. Not only does this car have ‘more’ horsepower, but it has several other tuner upgrades making it a well-rounded package.

Check out the exclusive video below from the DRIVE network on YouTube of Matt taking one of the latest cars that Steve Millen and his team injects wi…

Nissan Planning Crowd-Sourced 370Z Project Car via Facebook [Chicago Auto Show]

To help kick off the launch of its ever-so-lightly refreshed 370Z sports car, Nissan is launching a social-media campaign by which the public can help design a tricked-out Z. The automaker is imaginatively calling the crowd-sourced Z “Project 370Z,” and will show the final product at this year’s annual ZDayZ gathering.
Project 370Z will be built in several stages between now and when it debuts. Nissan will let its Facebook fans vote on different upgrades—with the categories including power, …

The Nissan Z has been a thriving Japanese 2-seater sports coupe for many years. The latest 370Z, over the course of its generation, has received subtle styling updates making it better and better. For 2013, the Nissan 370Z receives a refreshed front fascia taking it back to somewhat of the 350Z’s style only integrating daytime running LED lights and a few more curves.
