This sexy coupe-like sedan boasts the comfort and convenience of four doors and features a high-tension convex curve to its body shape as part of its sensuous exterior lines. The bold, low front end of the CLS is complemented by two-lamella chrome grille bars, and tasteful mesh to protect the engine bay from debris. The lower air intak…

Mitsubishi has been having a tough couple of years in the US market. Last year, when the overall light-vehicle market was down 21 percent, the three-diamond company’s sales tanked more than twice as fast as the overall market, with a 45 percent drop. This year, when the rising tide is supposed to be lifting all the boats, Mitsubishi’s US sales are basically flat.
There are two bright spots in Mitsubishi’s sales figures, though: the Lancer compact sedan and the Outlan…

ASSISTANT ART DIRECTOR CHERYL L. BLAHNIK: If you’re a car enthusiast, how can you not like this car? OK, well maybe I’m a little biased because ever since I was in high school, I wanted a BMW 3-series BMW.

There’s a great playground in Berkeley, near the Rose Garden, that has a two-story tall twisted and banked concrete slide down the side of a hill, of the sort that cities would never build again in our modern liability-freaked danger-averse era. Blissfully unaware of this, the local kids use torn-up cardboard boxes to reduce their [...]
