The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has released its list of most stolen 2009 passenger vehicles (excluding SUVs so no Escalade here) and the Audi S8 and Toyota Camry happened to be the shining stars on the list.
Audi’s S8 had the highest theft rate with 8.81 thefts per 1,000 vehicles built. However only 227 units were produced in 2009 and only two were stolen.

After receiving seven complaints of the rear liftgate unexpectedly closing on 2009 Honda Odyssey minivans, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s Office of Defects Investigation is looking into the alleged defect.
