Ritzville, Washington, 1950s
It might be hard to make out the cars in this nighttime shot of Main Street in Ritzville, Washington, that A.M. Kendrick took sometime in the 1950s, but you can’t deny how cool it is to see the neon lit up and the streetlamps reflecting off the rain-washed street. If you prefer a daytime shot, however, there’s another Kendrick photo taken from the same intersection of Main and North Adams below, dated to sometime in the early 1970s, both photos courtesy the Washington State Digital Archives….
