SIA Flashback – High-Fashion Hauler: 1948 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon
The Roadmaster Estate Wagon has remained one of Buick’s more beloved post-war models, so it was interesting to read Arch Brown’s account of postwar Buicks in general and the Estate Wagon in particular from SIA #136, July 1993 – particularly the part in which he points out that Buick hadn’t previously offered a station wagon and that it took a dealer to convince Buick to add that model.
