Another great shot from the Smithsonian American Art Museum‘s online archives, this one by Frank Paulin of a parking lot in an unidentified city (sure looks like Manhattan to me), dated 1955. It makes us wonder: While this fits in perfectly with our series of parking lot and street scenes, providing plenty of eye candy for old car enthusiasts, the Smithsonian considers it art.
