Prank Causes GM Wireless Router To Insert Derogatory Remarks in Webpages
Some of the journalists assembled for press conferences at General Motors’ headquarters in Detroit yesterday received an unusual surprise when they tried to use the Internet. A wireless router at the Renaissance Center had been reprogrammed to add the work “sucks” after every mention of Chrysler, Ford, Honda, or Toyota on a web page.
